I recently made a piece of art about my memories. I like how I can capture my memories on a canvas. It's a powerful experience for me. I don't stop there, though. I also use my spiritual journal for keeping memories. I use both words and pictures to remember my past and the present.

I've done a lot of paintings of myself in my Joseph Coat. Joseph had his dream coat. Maybe that means it told of his own dreams for his story. Maybe my coat does that too? I'm reflecting on my own spiritual autobiography today and how my coat is a part of that. It's a patchwork coat with patterned squares all sewn together. Each square is unique. I am reflecting on a women's retreat I attended. The presenter said that receiving what you want from God is easy: like pressing that Easy Button you see in those Staples Ads.
