The Unlimited Realm and Your Spiritual Autobiography

The Unlimited Realm is a place that God is in the process of creating within our lives. I had to be taught about the Unlimited Realm because I didn’t believe in it. I had decided that life was only going to take me so far and that the rest of the good stuff was for Heaven. I had nothing left to give: no trick to try, no prayer to say, no book to read and no counselor to fix me. I had tried everything imaginable to find more freedom on this earth and I was out of ideas. Even the hope that God…See More

Breaking Through with Spiritual Memoir

I was told a story of a woman who was bound by threads. She was put in a chair and tied up. The situation was meant to intimidate her, make a point and stop her. It wasn’t logical that a spool of thread could hold her but she had a choice to make. Either she could succumb or overcome.Maybe you think this scenario is ridiculous? Who would ever believe that a spool of thread could bind them? Yet, what ridiculousness intimidates us? I know that I am bound by threads. One negative comment can leave…See More

Spiritual Autobiography is Hope for Those Who Need Some

Sharing your "spiritual autobiography" sounds like an activity for pastors, theologians and religious leaders equipped for a daunting spiritual task. Many people believe that they don’t have a worthy spiritual story to share or a worthy way of sharing it. In reality God is alive and mightily at work in every life. They have a God story to share and they can find a way to share it. How have you encouraged others to share their story?

Throw Away Old Junk With Spiritual Journaling!

Believe what is true regardless of what seems to be. Don’t let that old tape, with all those old lies, play over and over again in your head. Replace that thing! I know how fear, negative words, wounds, broken heartedness, sickness and disease can get that tape rolling inside me and you. That doesn’t mean we have to put up with that OLD JUNK!

I’m gonna pull that Old Junk out of my head. I’m not going to give it a chance to play its old song of doubt, fear and sadness. Instead, I’m…

Spiritual Journaling: Journaling for Hope

I have hoped for so many things. I say to God, “But I Had Hoped….” If I could think clearly and have the old places healed, if my damaged parts could be glued back together, if my inclination was to love, if I needed no drugs for my body to work right, if my passion returned then…….???? I have hoped for so many things: for my thoughts to be His thoughts, for my passion to be His passion and that I would ache for good things. What I’d do have Him reach out and touch me. He could touch me and…

Expect More From Your Spiritual Autobiography!

I had forgotten the truth about what was possible. Life was better than it had been for a long time: I could sleep, the anxiety was gone and my body didn’t hurt anymore. These were great perks of a pill that also left me flat. I was once a woman who could feel deeply, weep and experience great joy, but I had come down a few notches. I was grateful in spite of what I had lost. I could be a good mother now and I could help people instead of needing their help. These were good things. The…
