The Unlimited Realm is a place that God is in the process of creating within our lives. I had to be taught about the Unlimited Realm because I didn’t believe in it. I had decided that life was only going to take me so far and that the rest of the good stuff was for Heaven. I had nothing left to give: no trick to try, no prayer to say, no book to read and no counselor to fix me. I had tried everything imaginable to find more freedom on this earth and I was out of ideas. Even the hope that God might fill my emptiness was a longing I had squelched. I should be happy with how far God had gone for me shouldn’t’ I? Isn’t it selfish to want even more?

The Unlimited Realm is all about wanting more. It’s the place where you believe that God is gonna go all the way for you. It’s where you expect Him to fill your emptiness COMPLETELY. In the Unlimited Realm God always has some new adventure for you to go on: there’s always some new way to find more freedom. If you didn’t know about the Unlimited Realm until now that’s OK. I had to be taught about it too. I didn’t believe in it right away either. The seed has just been planted within you and it will grow. Someday soon you’ll find that you’re a believer too.

Like it was for me, you may not think that the Unlimited Realm is part of your spiritual story. You might share your story, your spiritual autobiography, and skirt around God’s power to do the impossible. Let’s face it, there’s plenty to our spiritual story without trying to wrap our heads around the spiritual stuff that we can’t see or explain. I’m still trying to make sense of the way God healed my son, the spiritual wisdom of my 7 year old child and my daughter’s unwavering expectation that Jesus will do the miraculous. One day a group of people laid hands on me and prayed.  I got healed, but not before being brought to my knees and nearly vomiting on the altar. Somehow, something ungodly had found its way into me for me and God took care of “It.”  I’ve heard voices while being completely sane. Ice once melted on my driveway leaving a temporary imprint of a garden that was almost ten feet long and ten feet wide (I took a picture of it just to prove to myself that I wasn’t crazy). When I was about 30 years old I fell down the stairs but “Something” broke my fall at the bottom: I felt something touch me but “No One” was there. The Unlimited Realm is “unlimited” because it reaches well beyond what we can see or explain. Anything is possible with God. He can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. He is truly unlimited.

The earth is God’s realm. His people are part of His realm. Your story is part of His realm. We can’t share our spiritual autobiographies void of God’s unlimited capacity to do more than we ever imagined in a world that is much more than we could ever understand. We tell our spiritual story in the context of a supernatural, omnipotent, blow our mind God whether we believe it or not. We can try to navigate our way around this truth but our stories will betray any attempt to limit an unlimited God. His fingerprints on our lives reveal Him as an unlimited God no matter how much we believe He is limited. Tell your story and let His truth unfold. You just might find yourself believing in the Unlimited Realm.
